thailand

Many of you probably remember my last trip to Thailand in September 2003. Actually, as I was packing for the International Staff Conference, I found Thai Baht [their currency] in my suitcase. I am excited to return their for the ISC, and I also planning on returning later to work with the team directly on their technology needs. This trip has not yet been planned, so come back later to see any updates.

thai language

Unlike many languages we learn in school, and like most Asian language dialects, Thai is a tonal language. This mean that each word, though made up of the same characters, is pronounced differently in one of five tones. Each tone is a different word. The five tones are low, middle, high, rising, and falling.
